THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!!!!

So I must say that I am very excited to go on Thanksgiving break!! This is the most ingenious idea...put an almost week long break 2 weeks before finals...perfect! I am already feeling the relief of the break...I finally feel caught up with all of my classes!
Oh so I should probably tell you all about my birthday!! Yesterday was my birthday and it was fabulous! We started celebrating it on Friday..Chloe's day to celebrate with me was on Friday...she made me dinner and Cinnamon rolls...we watched Phantom of the Opera and sang along opera style to all of the songs...then we had an anti-evolution party and watched a movie which was awesome I believe it was by Ben Stein and he pretty much fought for the right to research Intelligent Design...if you have not seen it I would highly suggest it!!....Saturday was Felicia's day to celebrate with me...she made me pizza...and Pazookies...then we went to the mall and walked around..then her Kevin and I watched a movie...then as I was getting ready for bed she gave me my first gift which was a picture frame with pictures of her and me in it and a leaf( leafs remind her of me)...then Sunday morning when I got up there were two pairs of earrings onmy desk with a note from her...then she left for California while I was at Church and when I got home there were two bottles of nail polish on my bed with another note from Felicia! Then I went to dinner at Josh and Christie's house and they made dinner for me and stuffed me silly...then josh thought it would be funny to wrestle me and give me my birthday spankings...haha it was all very fun!...Then Steph gave me a card...Krysten and Corrine came to ward prayer and surprised me with brownies!...Then to top the whole night off Shyanne called me and we talked like old times!!!!! It was so good to talk to her! I miss that gild like crazy! So all in all I had a wonderful birthday! I really do have wonderful friends and family!!!

Ok so I know it has been forever! Sorry!
So I have been doing some crazy awesome stuff since I got back from Missouri! Lets see where do I begin.....oh yes, Homecoming!
So a couple of weekends ago Felicia and I both got asked to Homecoming! It was flippin awesome! I went with my friend Matt and we doubled with my two other friends Nate and Heather...Well the four of us made these crazy awesome t'shirts! Mine said "amazing awesomeness" in mandarin! Sweet huh! So then we went to the dance sporting our fabulous shirts. Sadly enough the dance only had 30 min to go so we decided to create our own dance outside of Nate's apartment! So Felicia and her date joined us! It was a great time! Totally awesome weekend Felicia and I took pictures of us before the date!
ok so last Friday was awesome!!! I totally went longboarding down Provo canyon....hardcore?...yes!!! So my friend Dave took me Felicia and her friend Tony! We pretty much rocked it! sadly I biffed it pretty bad and smacked my head and I believe got a minor concussion.....but no fears I am doing just fine now! But we had an awesome time and I feel pretty hardcore now!
Last Saturday we had this party thing called Oktober fest! It is lots of fun and lots of dancing! Felicia and I rocked it out and had tons of fun! So the party was going wonderful...we were dacning...and having a gay old time (gay meaning happy)....and Ryan and Jon threw me in the swimming pool....it is ok though becuase I totally started a new trend and I got Ryan in...with the help of Jon of course! It was awesome!! After the party was over I went and played rockband with Todd and Bryan! It was sweet!
Ok so yesterday night was halloween! So Felicia and I decided we just wanted to chill so we watched the edited version of titanic! But that was a very heavy movie(emotionaly) So we decided to lighten things up a bit with a light hearted movie....after a long and arduaous journey we found "what a girl wants"...We made it about 1/3 of the way through the movie before I started falling asleep...then we went to bed!!! I am so proud of myself because I did not set my alarm and slept in until 12! I feel so much better now!
Tonight.....was our ward halloween party!!! It was flippin amazing!! Felicia and I dressed up as 80's chicks! we looked awesome!!! There was dancing once again and I won the cake walk!! (flashbacks to 1st grade halloween party!) Then we went with Jon and Ryan and a bunch of other cool kids and ice blocked!! It was awesome!! Now I look like I peed my pants but It was totally worth it!!
So yeah those have been my crazy adventures!! Sorry it has been so long since I have written! I will try to stay on top of it better!

Home Sweet Home

I am in Missouri! So for the past month I have been working 32 hours a week while doing 14 credits at BYU. I was getting pretty worn down so my parents bought me a plan ticket and flew me out to Missouri for a long weekend. I have slept so much since leaving Provo. I fell asleep as my flight took off in Salt Lake and woke up as we landed in Pheonix. I also slept of over half of my flight from Pheonix to Kansas City. I took a four hour nap on Thursday and Friday. Today I slept in until ten and finally feel rested.
Let me tell you coming home is a wonderful thing. I am so grateful God gave us families!!! yesterday was Dad's birthday and so we went out to dinner last night... it is so nice to just be around people who know all of your faults and still love everything about you.

The warehouse!

I offically have the best job ever...don't get me wrong it is not what I do but who I work with! I work in a flashlight warehouse. Mostly what I do is engrave the flashlights with logos and such. Well on Monday my boss Todd and I decided to build this amazing house out of 580 empty boxes!
Once we were through with the house we jumped into an awesome pile of boxes made from opening box after box of flashlights! It was tons of fun! Lynzi decided to record all the fun!

A Girl's day Out!

So Saturday Lynzi and I decided we wanted a day free from the pressures of Provo:)
Lynzi came and picked me up around 1ish and we headed up to cascade springs in Provo canyon! It was a twisted winding road that seemed to take a lot longer heading up it than back down. But we enjoyed every minute of it! Cascade Springs is the beautiful low waterfall and they built a wooden pathway through it! Lynzi and I just moseyed our way through with a stop here or there to take pictures or sit and talk! It was a very enjoyable day! By the end we had both worked up a large appetite so Lynzi treated me to dunch/linner at The Old Spaghetti Factory! Then we went shopping at the mall and got Lynzi a cute new shirt for her date the following

Oh and while Lynzi was in the restroom I took the liberty of playing with her camera...I figured she would be the type who would appreciate a good laugh!!

Trip to Washington!

Ok so I just decided to hit the highlights of my trip because it is taking me too long to write it all. Ok so Kari and I had tons of fun just being dorks on our way up to Washington! We sang to Disney, N'Synk, and other random fun music! We got to Washington Friday morning, took showers, and went to Seattle! I LOVE Seattle!! It is beautiful! We ate lunch down by the ocean, went up in the Space needle, and went to Pike's Place Market! .....k so on the way back to Adna I began to get a Migraine so I drank a pepsi and took 2 Migraine Excedrin....can you say caffeine high?.....I never have caffeine in my system...I was all shaky and fun stuff....haha it was pretty crazy!
Saturday I crashed on the couch! That was awesome!! Garrett gave me a tour of Adna, Chehalis, and Centralia! I absolutely loved Centralia! It is this little town stuck in the twenties! That night we had Kari's farewell party! It was lots of fun...even though I only knew Garrett and Kari!
Sunday we went to Church and took Kari to the Airport..:( I miss that girl like crazy!!
Monday we went to the Beach! I want to live by the ocean in Washington so badly!!! I think I was in heaven when I was at the beach! I flew kites. Garrett and I made two Sand castles!.....only one survived. Garrett and i also made up our own version of golf! haha it was tons of fun! We played in the waves...just up to our knees. I loved it!
Tuesday I just chilled and ran errands with Garrett. We played cards with his parents and went to bed early.
Wednesday Garrett and I left at about 5:30am! We drove strait through! We had lots of fun being stupid. Garrett went off for about 45 minutes about how much he hated Utah once we crossed the Idaho, Utah boarder. You see he got cut off 4 times right over the boarder...it was pretty pathetic!
All in all I had a wonderful time!

Back from Washington!

Hello everyone!
So I am back from Washington! I had a wonderful time!! I was really worried with having only 2 1/2 weeks of break before school started again that I would be burnt out but I feel quit rested! I am excited for my roommates to move in! Life is pretty boring without them! I really like my new apartment. It is a slight step up from my last one! haha but it is definitely still the Villa! I miss Kari dreadfully!! But I am really happy because she is having tons of fun in Florida! So I am going to break my trip to Washington up into individual days so I don't have one ginormous post!

DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy cow!! So today has been crazy awesome!! I took both of my finals in about 5 hours! Then I took a nap!! Yay for naps!! Then I went back on campus to take care of some paper work and rewarded myself with a BYU Hoodie and some other items I was in need such as tank tops and jazz! Then Kari, Krysten, and I had our final movie night!! Well with Kari....Krysten and I will continue and Kari will join us once again in the winter! We watched the live action version of Peter Pan....I would highly suggest it! It has just the right mix of Chick flick, action, scary, and funny!! I really enjoyed it! We also ordered Pizza and had crazy awesome cookies! It was fun! At the end of the movie I realized I was supposed to be Visiting Teaching so I ran back to my partner's apartment and we went visiting teaching! Then I took the truck to Josh and Christie and sad goodbye to them! Man am I going to miss them...even though I will only be gone for a week! Then Kari, Krysten, and Anthony helped me move my belongings to my new apartment! It is now 2:15am and I just got done with most of my cleaning for my check out tomorrow! I still have to vacuum and wash the oven racks but that is it!!! I am super duper excited because tomorrow I will be heading to Washington! I can't believe it is already here!! The only downside to today was I lost my chap stick.....I am the biggest chap stick addict ever!! Hopefully I will find it before we leave tomorrow.....if not.......I will have to buy a new one....
YAY for being done!!!

We be Pirates...arr

haha Ok so my ward has this annual pirate party. For this pary everybody dresses up like pirates and we eat "pirate food". The best part of the whole thing is the pirate boat race! Anyone is allowed to enter. You make a "boat"....aka anything that floats....and you race it. There are no rules so you can sink each other's boats or whatever! It was tons of fun! I did not enter a boat myself but after the race was over I was riding in one of my friend's boats. So there I was riding in my little boat minding my own business when all of a sudden I was in the water. One of the guys in my ward swam underneath me while I wasn't paying attention and tipped the boat! It was pretty fun! The party was a ton of fun! I had forgotten how much I love pushing people and being pushed into the water!
Oh and on top of all this coolness It rained!!!!!!!!! Like really, really hard! Not quite as good as a Missouri or rain storm but way better than anything Utah has produced in a long time!! Complete with a beautiful lightening storm and thunder!!! It was tons of fun!

School............blaaa

I am supper duper excited because I only have one week left of classes!! I can't believe it has already been two months! My parents always told me growing up to just be patient because time would travel faster as I got older......well guess what.....they were right! I haven't decided if I like it faster or slower....I guess I will just take whatever I get! The way I see it is life is what you make of it. Yes there will be hard times yes there will be great times but we really have the choice within us as to whether or not we are happy. I am so thankful for wonderful parents who taught me this through example. My theory is just enjoy life, love all you can, draw closer to Christ, have some good stories to tell, and be true to the real you!

Oh what fun!

So this weekend has been awesome!! Friday night Kari, Krysten, and I had a girl's night out! And yes we did actually go out! We got all dressed up and went to Color Me Mine! Color Me Mine is a pottery place where you paint your one pottery and they fire and glaze it! We had so much fun! The hardest part of the whole experience is trying to decide which thing to paint. It probably took us around 30 minutes just to decide. We each ended up doing a mug and a bowl. Next comes the decision of what colors and what designs to do. I have such a hard time with this because I love colors so much and would love to use them all.....but that would just end up nasty! Once we got settled in and started painting a group of 12 year old girls sat at the table just behind us. I believe this was one of the most entertaining portions of the night. We listened to these young girls talk about their boy problems, how many people they knew, and how mature they were! I loved it!
We we got done at color Me Mine we returned to my apartment and discovered we were all very hungry! Kari, Krysten, and I have a very hard time making decisions so we have resorted to a sort of not it game to make one person make the decision. We put our fingers on our noses and whoever is left has to make the decision! haha it is so much fun! we finally decided on Pizza! So we went to Smiths and got pizzas but now we had to decide on what to have for dessert! haha we spent 15 min in front of the ice cream trying to decide on what we wanted. We ended up with sherbet! Then we came back to my apartment and started watching Elizabeth Town and ate our pizza and sherbet! But we only got a little ways through the movie when we all started falling asleep. We thus decided to continue the movie on Thursday for our Thursday movie day! haha Good times, good times!
Yesterday I went to Ceder City for their Shakespearean festival! It was great fun! I had never seen any of Shakespeare's plays. Kari and I road there with her Shakespeare class on a bus. We watched "Two Gentlemen of Verona". It is one of Shakespeare's earlier works and a comedy! I liked it a lot. The only problem was there were a couple of jokes that were somewhat dirty. I didn't like that. But the tip as a whole was very fun! Someday when I am married and have children of my own I want to expose them to cultural things like Shakespeare!

Seven Peaks....still fun at the ripe old age of 19!

So last night I ventured with Josh, Christie, and Katie to Seven Peaks. I had high hopes seeing as how it was my favorite place as a child. I must admit I was slightly worried since I am a few years older and a few feet taller that I would be disappointed. When we entered the gait, I felt like a little kid again! So much to do and so little time. I of course kept my composure because I didn't want to embarrass Josh... haha anyways. Our first destination was the wave pool. Sadly there were no waves...so we waited....and waited....but nothing. So we decided to venture over to the lazy river. The lazy river didn't end up being such a lazy ride! It of course turned into an all out race! With some tipping of tubes and bruises of course. We then headed to the ...............Half pipe!!! wahoo!!! Wow was the sucker fun! But be careful because you might get whiplash if you lean forward too much. Then we ran (and I mean ran) over to the big slides!! First was the tube run...cool but boring. Then came the .......FREE FALL! Ya baby!! That thing was awesome!! I was scared to death because you road on your back straight down!!! That was good stuff!! We road a bunch of slides and it was great fun!! Definitely worth the 12 dollars!!

Rain!!!!!

I never realized how much I loved rain until I moved to the desert. For the past two weeks I have been craving rain like a pregnant woman craves steak, or whatever she craves. Utah I believe finds itself very funny. Over the past two weeks there has been about 5 or 6 times when it got very cloudy, the temperature dropped, the air smelt like rain, and it even had the gul to have thunder and lightening..... I had given up hope for a rainstorm and thought I was going to have to wait for my trip to Washington for rain. Well last night when I was sitting in my bedroom doing nothing, there was a knock on my door. Kari appeared and announced that it was raining and I should come and play! I cannot explain to you how happy I was for that rain!! I and five other girls ran outside and frolicked in the rain. When we were pretty much soaked, Kari and I went to the park and swung on the swings. We watched the Thunder and felt the rain and wind on our faces! I guess Utah isn't so bad after all! She did play with my emotions for a couple of weeks but that made me all the more satisfied when the rain did come.

Sundays are a special day

I love Sundays! Not only do I get to go to church and feel of the spirit and learn more about the Gospel, but I also get to sing at a nursing home. When I first moved to Utah, I went with my ward to sing at this nursing home down the street from my apartment. Over time I have truly come to love my weekly visits. I have come to know and love these wonderful sisters. haha but one of the best things is all the stories i come out of there with! These people are so sweet haha but extremely blunt! One time one of the men told us we needed to practice more because we sounded bad. Another time a woman went on for 20 min about how we needed to start an autistic football team. Each Sunday I come home with some sort of story! Service truly is a wonderful way through which we draw closer to our Savior! I am so thankful he has put people in my life who need me!!!

Something beautiful in Utah!

I will admit I am not a big fan of Utah. It is dry and either ridiculously cold or hot. Today, however, I found something to love about Utah! Kari and I went for what we thought would be a 30 min ride up to Timpanogos Cave. The drive ended up taking us a lot longer than we planned and we did not end up hiking up to the caves but the drive was BEAUTIFUL!! Let me tell you, this is a side of Utah which I did not know existed. It was covered in beautiful trees and.....I just loved it! It only costs $6 per car. I would definitely recommend it for everyone!

Talking to the kids!

I have the best family ever! This evening was spent listening to my little brothers and sisters tell me all the new happenings. Emily, 6 years old, showed me her new found talent of reading. She read me a book about a dad, rug, and jug. It was very entertaining, especially to hear her laugh at the jokes which were obviously put in there for kids. Jacob told me all about the invention camp which he will be attending this coming week. He promised to call me after he gets home each day next week. Chelsea of course had lots to say about all of the movies she has been watching lately. I sadly enough have lost the talent I once had of always understanding her. The one thing I really understood was when she told me she loved to talk to me on the phone! Sara was at the Temple and so I could not talk to her. Who could ask for a better family?
